Lou N2TU was licensed in 1963 as WV2RNW and has held a number of calls in two land. He became N2TU in 1996 and chose "TU" because we have a lot to be thankful for in this hobby!

He has been past Vice President of the Long Island DX Association and since his retirement and relocation to North Carolina in 2005, a member of the Carolinas DX Association.

He has chased DX since the start and currently holds 10 Band DXCC, Top of the Honor Roll, DXCC on CW (needs P5 only) and Digital (needs BS7 only). He is an active contester and especially likes CW and RTTY. In the Challenge, he just broke through the 2700 mark. In the past few years, he has been bitten by the 6M bug and been quite active on the "Magic Band".

He is married to Hilda and has one grown Child and two Grandchildren living in Delaware. He retired from Lucent Technologies and Cablevision Systems.
